Repainting risk. Swing points (X, A, B, C, D) are found with a fractal look-back — the most recent pivot can still shift or invalidate as new candles print, especially the C and D legs.
PRZ ≠ instant reversal. Price can pierce the Potential Reversal Zone before turning, or fail to turn at all — always wait for confirmation (e.g. a rejection candle) rather than entering blind at D.
Data lag & API limits. Free TwelveData keys are rate-limited (8 req/min, 800/day) and quotes can lag a few seconds; verify price on your broker's feed before executing.
News & spread risk. GBP/JPY, GBP/NZD and GBP/AUD carry wide spreads and can gap hard around UK/US/NZ/AU data releases — a valid pattern can still get stopped out on a spike.
Position sizing. Stops shown are structural (beyond X), not a sizing recommendation — always size the trade to your own account risk, not the other way around.
